Three of my Favorite things to do: cook, eat, and look for new recipes to try! I grew up with a mother that was a great cook and have loved carrying that tradition over into my own home. This is a compilation of recipes that I've tried and liked, where I found them, how I made them, and what I think about them. Cooking is, for me, an expression of love. Enjoy!

Baked Pasta and Broccoli with Ham and Cheesy-creamy Cauliflower sauce

I thought this looked like a really interesting recipe.  I liked all the components of the recipe and I thought the cauliflower would be a really great way to cut calories and sneak in some more veggies.  It was pretty easy to put together, I didn't have to blanch the broccoli first which was a great step to bypass, and it had AMAZING flavor, truly.  My only complaint was that the cauliflower changes the texture of the sauce (obviously) so while you're expecting a smooth creamy sauce, you get more of a mealy, lumpy feel, but that doesn't even begin to outweigh the benefits of all the calories cut, so I was good to go!
